What is link building ?
It is the process of obtaining back links to your site through submission of your site's url, title, description and keywords to various similarly themed sites, authority sites, directories, classifieds, search engines etc.
How is it done ?
Your sites' details like title , description and keywords are generally obtained from the meta tags on your home page or other pages. This can be seen by right clicking on the web page of your choice and clicking on 'View Source'. Generally, these are the details which are submitted at the time of submission to a directory, search engine etc.
Which is the best way of obtaining backlinks ?
Well, obviously by word of mouth. If you can get people to link to your site on their own, nothing like it ! If you offer excellent content, people will by themselves refer your site to others who in turn might again refer your site. That is exactly what Google wants and will definitely fetch you a very good search engine ranking position and Page Rank.
What is the most important thing in link building ?
Well, the anchor text of course i.e. the text in the hyperlink pointing to your site from another site. It is more important than the meta keywords on your page. This is what brings up your page in search results.
So be sure to have your most important keywords in the anchor text. If you want your page to come on top of Google results for a particular keyword, it is good to have that keyword on your page first, at the same time keeping in mind not to overdo it.

What kind of links help my site ?
Generally, links from a page which contains a lot of information about the same subject as your site and which by itself has a good Page Rank help you to get a good Page Rank and by that a good search engine ranking position.
So how do you go about it ?
Your site is generally submitted to free directories, search engines and related sites etc. whose Page Rank is from 3 to 6. The PR is of the homepage not the inner pages where your site gets listed. That is more often than not between zero to two. However it does count.
If you want to be listed on higher PR page you have to go in for a paid submission and they can cost you anywhere from $5 to $ 100 per year !
It is hard to find free directories having more than this PR who will readily accept free submissions. Generally the more the Page Rank of the directory, the harder it is to get into it.
Your site is also submitted to directories of authority sites. Back links from these are the ones which count most. But to be considered in such directories or for that matter, any directory, you need to have a high quality site with lots of original content first.
It is good to have a varied set of titles for the anchor text with a few short ones and a few long ones because too much repetition will probably reduce the value of those back links to your site by Google. Also because each directory has its own rules and strictures. You cannot always submit the same thing.
Will this process definitely bring my site to the front pages of Google search results ? How many links are needed to come up first?
A lot depends upon the competition you have for your keywords i.e. your business on the net.
Generally, nothing can be said about the quantity of links to come up first since there are hundreds of sites like yours being created everyday and they too are trying to come up in search results by adopting SEO techniques, every single day !

Do you do submissions only or do you give a report on all the achieved links ?
Of course we do. Every site where the submission is made is regularly checked and all the successfully listed sites are given to you in the format of your choice with exact location, Page Rank etc. Unsuccessful submissions are not required to be paid. You are required to only pay for the successfully listed links.
How long does it take to get listed ?
Anywhere from 24 hrs to 6 months ! The more reputed a directory is, the longer it takes to get listed because of their strictures and long waiting lines. But it is possible to get 100 to 200 links in 2 months with PR from 3 to 5 (homepage).
This applies to the conventional directories found on the net, not for the ones found on authority sites. In those cases, it could take 30 to 45 days. As already said, you need to have a high quality site with lots of original content first.
Generally a top domain is preferred over inner pages.
